We are an established engineering practice, founded in 1978. Our engineers have a combined experience of over 110 years in the motor industry.
We specialise in the fault diagnosis, repair and refurbishment of automatic transmissions, all of our engineers are qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3.
The business was formed by the principals in 1978 both of whom came from an engineering background from the Ford motor company and from Lotus. Over the years the company has grown using state of the art technology to stay at the fore front of the transmission diagnstics, repair and overhaul industry to allow us to meet the needs of a diverse range of modern vehicles.
We enjoy an enviable reputation, based on excellent customer service, providing local main dealers, the general public and clients such as Transport for London with efficient and reliable automotive services.
Why Should I Service My Transmission
In the recent past transmissions were regarded as ‘fill for life’ units. General wear and tear and heating of the fluid in normal use will eventually degrade its ability to satisfactorily lubricate and cool the transmissions internal components. Also normal build up of matter in the fluid will eventually impair the ability of the filter to maintain clean fluid.
Regular maintenance can prevent premature wear and in some cases complete transmission failure.
We firmly believe that proper maintenance can in many cases prevent this and restore manufacturer designed transmission performance, indeed most manufacturers now state service intervals for automatic transmissions of at least every 40,000 miles or four years which ever is the sooner.
This area is generally overlooked when your vehicle is in for routine servicing at non specialist garages.
